Neston High School receives International School Award

Mrs Gilmour receiving the DCSF International School Award from broadcaster and journalist George Alagiah.

The ceremony took place in October and Neston High was one of only 400 school accredited.

In order to qualify the school had to show that :

• A majority of pupils within the school were impacted by and involved in international work
• Collaborative curriculum-based work has been carried out with a number of partner schools
• Curriculum-based work across a range of subjects reflected international themes
• There was year round international activity
• The wider community were involved
• Evaluation had been undertaken from a variety of sources allowing us to improve our activities and our international programme.

An international ethos is embedded throughout the school
